Iran’s Haratian to participate in FIFA women’s conference
Head of Iran Football Medical Assessment and Rehabilitation Center (IFMARC) Dr. Zohreh Haratian has been invited to the upcoming second edition of FIFA Women’s Football & Leadership Conference in Switzerland.
Haratian will attend the one-day meeting at FIFA headquarters in the Swiss city of Zurich, where delegates from various football associations will exchange viewpoints on the challenges and opportunities relating to the development of women’s football, and the promotion of women in positions of leadership in the sports industry.
The participants will also focus on how FIFA reforms can bring about greater equality and opportunities for women and girls in football.
The second edition of the FIFA Women’s Football and Leadership Conference is scheduled to be held in Zurich, Switzerland, on March 7 concurrent with the International Women’s Day.
Among the high-profile attendees are recently retired world champion Abby Wambach and Sylvia Schenk, an arbitrator at the Court of Arbitration for Sports.
