Iran Leader offers condolences to GC secretary on wife death
Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei has extended his condolences to Secretary of the Guardian Council Ayatollah Ahmad Jannati on the death of his wife.
In his message on Friday, Ayatollah Khamenei offered sympathy to the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
President Hassan Rouhani, Parliament (Majlis) Speaker Ali Larijani and Judiciary Chief Ayatollah Sadeq Amoli Larijani also sent separate messages of condolence to the secretary of the Guardian Council.
The wife of Ayatollah Jannati and mother of Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Ali Jannati passed away on Thursday.
