'US destructive policies'

Tehran says the US-led regional security meeting is nothing but a deceitful show to cover up Washington's destructive policies against peace and security. Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baqaei made the remark in response to a US statement on the so-called Regional Security Dialogue hosted by Bahrain. In a post on X, Baqaei said the US has repeatedly shown no regard for peace and security in West Asia, describing the gathering as a political theater aimed at concealing Washington's destabilizing and unlawful actions. He also urged regional countries to remain vigilant and learn from the recent US-Israeli military aggression that undermined the security of the entire region. The US central command has hosted a meeting that brought together military leaders from 12 regional countries to discuss defense cooperation and security.
