The United States has rejected an "official Israeli request to review" the newly announced memorandum of understanding (MoU) between Washington and Tehran, according to reports by Israeli outlets.
According to Channel 12 correspondent Yaron Avraham, the Israeli regime submitted a formal request to Washington seeking a review of the memorandum. The request was rejected, with Israeli officials reportedly remaining unaware of the full details of the MoU.

The reported US refusal came amid growing criticism of the memorandum from Israeli officials, who have publicly questioned it and said it does not alter Tel Aviv’s position towards Tehran.
Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu said during a press conference on Monday that he was "not sure about the details" of the MoU.
Hebrew media outlets have also reported "deep disappointment" and opposition to the understanding among Israeli authorities.
According to the regime's i24 television channel, Israeli officials view the MoU negatively, particularly provisions related to withdrawing from Lebanon and ending attacks on the country.
An unnamed source cited by i24 described the agreement as an "embarrassment."
Meanwhile, Israeli officials have reportedly informed Washington that the regime does not consider itself bound by the understanding.
"The agreement with Iran was made by Trump, and this is his decision; we have our own interests," Netanyahu said.
The US president announced a ceasefire in the latest bout of unprovoked American-Israeli aggression against the Islamic Republic on April 7.
The announcement came amid decisive Iranian retaliation against the aggressors' interests throughout the region and after Tehran closed the strategic Strait of Hormuz to enemies and their allies.
Besides the counterstrikes, Iran has also responded to the regime's violations of a ceasefire arrangement in Lebanon.

The Islamic Republic has invariably insisted that cessation of aggression should encompass all fronts, including Lebanon, asserting that any future Israeli attacks on Lebanon or continued occupation of recently-seized territories in the country would constitute a violation of the memorandum of understanding.
