At least 650 Iranian Olympiad medalists issued a joint statement on Tuesday, condemning the US-Israeli aggression against their country.
They addressed the people of conscience worldwide to raise global awareness.
They warned against the “repercussions of expanding injustice and aggressive policies by hegemonic powers In the international relations system.”
They stated that the 12-day US-Israeli war against Iran in June 2025 and the current aggression shows “a clear rupture in the international order, which will bring about insecurity for all the world nations.”
The statement said the world under the existing circumstances would never be a place of peace for anyone due to the vicious alignment between the United States and the Israeli regime.
“Now the people around the globe have completely understood that the time for deceptive games is absolutely over,” the statement read.
The Olympiad winners said such “a constant violent pattern of meddling in the internal affairs of other countries could lead to numerous crises across the world.“
The statement also honored the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei. They characterized him as “a pillar of the oppressed world and symbol of the determination of free people.”
The statement said Ayatollah Khamenei never sought shelter despite all the threats and instead remained at his workplace at the time of martyrdom.
The US and Israel carried out coordinated attacks on February 28, while Tehran-Washington negotiations were still ongoing.
In response, Iran has been pounding the US assets in the region as well as areas in the Israeli-occupied territories using high-end missiles and sophisticated drones.
Senior Iranian officials have asserted that any deliberate assault by the United States and Israeli regime on Iran’s civilian and cultural heritage sites constitutes a "flagrant breach of international humanitarian law and an undisputed war crime."
