Israeli media: Iran's new-generation missiles cause widespread destruction

Iran's new-generation missiles cause widespread destruction in Israeli-occupied territories.

Israeli media have reported a marked increase in destruction and casualties since Iran began using its more advanced missiles in strikes against targets across the occupied territories.

More than 11,000 compensation claims related to damages from Iran's retaliatory missile attacks have been filed since the start of the unprovoked war against Iran on February 28, reports said on Sunday.

According to figures released by Israel’s Tax Administration, over 7,600 of the total files have been related to property damage, with Tel Aviv accounting for the highest number of such claims.

Iran’s missile and drone attacks have rendered numerous buildings uninhabitable, and more than 3,000 settlers have been relocated to hotels and shelters, the media reported.

Military experts, however, have warned that none of the existing shelters in the occupied territories have the capacity to withstand Iran's new-generation missiles, particularly the super-heavy Khorramshahr, Kheybar, and Sejjil.

Israel’s health ministry said at least 3,195 people have so far been wounded in Iran’s missile attacks on the occupied territories.

Media reports say casualty figures are much higher than what Israeli officials have admitted.

Iran has carried out massive attacks on the occupied territories and US assets in the region since the very first day of the war.

In the latest wave of attacks, the country’s armed forces fired a barrage of advanced missiles, including the solid-fuel Sejjil missile, which was deployed for the first time since the war began.

A multitude of missiles, including the super-heavy Khorramshahr with double warheads, Kheybar, Qadr, and Emad were also fired at several targets across the Israeli-occupied territories.

The Israeli media reported that sirens blared in Tel Aviv, Herzliya, and at least 141 other locations across the occupied territories, alerting settlers of incoming missiles.
