The Jewish community in the southern Iranian city of Shiraz says the Iranian nation is resolved more than ever to make criminals pay for the blood of martyrs.

In a statement on Thursday, the Jewish community in Shiraz conveyed its heartfelt condolences to the Iranian nation over the martyrdom of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, by the Israeli regime and the United States.

The community described the late Leader as “a true role model for faith and courage” as well as being “the sole leader of the fighting front” against enemies.

They also offered condolences over the martyrdom of top-ranking commanders as well as ordinary civilians, including children, martyred during the ongoing US-Israeli aggression.

“No doubt this hostile act of aggression perpetrated by the criminal United States and the nefarious Zionist regime will not go unanswered and, as always, will be met with a decisive response by Iran’s Armed Forces,” the statement read.

The US-Israeli military coalition launched its unprovoked aggression on Iran early on Saturday, assasinating Leader of the Islamic Revolution and some of his family members.

In response, the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) and the army have launched more than a dozen waves of massive strikes against US military assets in regional countries and targets in the Israeli-occupied territories since Saturday.

The strong retaliation has forced the US to close its embassies in some West Asian countries while instructing its nationals to flee to safer locations.

Iranian armed forces have vowed to continue their retaliatory operations until the enemy is punished for crossing Iranian red lines.
