Three Palestinians have been killed by Israeli military fire and airstrikes on the Gaza Strip as the Tel Aviv regime continues to violate the US-brokered ceasefire.
On Wednesday, which also marked the first day of Ramadan in Gaza, Israeli forces killed three more Palestinians through a combination of air, land, and sea strikes.
Medical sources at Nasser Medical Complex announced that one Palestinian was killed by Israeli gunfire in areas east of Khan Younis.
The hospital announced earlier that two Palestinians had been killed by Israeli fire in the town of Bani Suheila, also east of Khan Younis.
One of the victims was identified as 20-year-old Mohannad Jamal Mohammad Al-Najjar, who was shot near the Bani Suheila roundabout east of the city.
Israeli artillery shelled the eastern neighborhoods of Gaza City and targeted areas east of Khan Younis, while tanks unleashed heavy fire on the eastern outskirts of the city.
Meanwhile, more demolitions were carried out by Israeli forces, who razed residential buildings in Beit Hanoun in the northern Gaza Strip.
A series of Israeli airstrikes by low-flying jets also targeted some areas in Khan Younis and Rafah in southern Gaza.
The Tel Aviv regime continues to violate the US-brokered ceasefire on a daily basis and since the start of it, Israeli forces have killed several hundred more Palestinians, including 195 children and 84 women.
The Israeli genocidal war in Gaza since October 7, 2023, has killed more than 72,000 Palestinians and injured nearly 172,000 more. More than 8,000 Palestinians are reported missing.
