Zakharova added that equal and respectful dialogue is the only viable path forward.

Ramadan in Gaza

Muslim worshippers in Gaza mark the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan. They have performed prayers at holy sites including the Great Omari Mosque in Gaza City. People in Gaza gathered for the pre-dawn meal on the first day of fasting as they still struggle to access food and clean water. They observe the holy month amid a fragile ceasefire. Meanwhile, Palestinians congregated at the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in the occupied Al-Quds to hold prayers. Ramadan is the Islamic holy month of fasting, reflection, and community. In some Muslim countries, the holy month begins on Thursday.
