Gaza rejects Israeli claims of rising births amid collapse of healthcare system

An Israeli claim that 70,000 children were born in Gaza during the war has spread rapidly without evidence, starkly contradicting the reality of a collapsed healthcare system.
On the ground, Palestinian health data shows birth rates have instead fallen by approximately 11%, with doctors and mothers describing a crisis of miscarriages, malnourishment, and struggle for survival.
