The Court of Appeal in London ruled on June 15th 2026 that the British government was right to proscribe pro-Palestinian campaign group Palestine Action as a terrorist organization last year.

The state thinks they have won today because of this ruling; they have not won.

In the process of proscription this state has trashed its reputation internationally, has torn to pieces the fundamentals of democracy in Britain, and at the same time, they thought they were outlawing direct action, but they have created 100 new direct action organisations.

The high court had previously ruled that the ban on Palestine Action was unlawful. The UK government later appealed the decision.

The legal battle surrounding Palestine Action has sparked broader debate over the use of counterterrorism legislation to silence protest movements.

Supporters of Palestine Action gathered outside the court on Monday as the ruling was announced, with some voicing opposition to the decision and warning about the implications for protest rights in the United Kingdom.

Well, it will affect, it will have a big impact, but I think as far as our protests with defend our jurists, we continue, we will just continue and continue, because this is so unjust, it is so unfair, it is so corrupt ... that we will just keep going.

Arrests were made during the protest against what the protesters see as efforts to curtail the right to freedom of expression and assembly.

Over 3000 people have been arrested since July last year, when the government put the ban on Palestine Action.

Fascism in action; this gentleman right here he is about to arrest someone for holding a placard that says 'I oppose genocide, I support Palestine Action', Palestine Action, a direct action group that aren't violent towards any people, they at best destroy weaponry and machinery that is used to kill people, but because the government is in bed with Israel, because we are up to our necks in Zionist lobbying.

The UK government argues that Palestine Action members supported violence by attacking a British facility owned by Israeli weapons group Elbit Systems near Bristol.

Campaigners and protest organizers reject that. They've promised to continue their campaign to fight the ban, planning to take their case to the Supreme Court, and if necessary, the European Court of Human Rights.

London's Royal Court of Justice has ruled that the ban on Palestine Action is lawful, upholding the government's ban to proscribe the group under UK terrorism legislation.

Supporters of the pro-Palestinian organization have been protesting this ban, and the ruling is now expected to have broader implications for protest rights in the United Kingdom.
