Israel Gaza, Lebanon strikes

Meanwhile, Israeli media reported an explosive device detonated near a military vehicle, causing casualties in Rafah. An Israeli helicopter was later seen over central the area, likely for medical evacuation. Moreover, the total number of fatalities resulting from the Gaza genocide is almost at 70,950.
China US warning
China has strongly condemned the latest U.S. massive arms sales to the Taiwan region. The senior Chinese official said Taiwan's ruling Democratic Progressive Party, the DPP, is stubbornly soliciting foreign support for secessionist attempts. He warned that such actions are turning the island into a powder keg and using Taiwanese people as cannon fodder. He concluded that Beijing urges relevant parties to immediately cease arming Taiwan to avoid further escalating tensions in the Taiwan Strait. Recently, the Trump administration announced an 11 billion-dollar arms sale to Taiwan. If approved by Congress, it will be the second arms sale to Taiwan since Donald Trump returned to the White House.
Australia anti-protest law
The government of New South Wales in Australia has approved sweeping new laws targeting gun ownership and public protests following a shooting incident in Sydney in mid-December. Minns made the announcement after the New South Wales state parliament passed "the Terrorism and Other Legislation Amendment Bill" after the upper house approved the bill. The legislation grants authorities the power to ban protests for up to three months. The laws also limit the number of guns an individual can own to four, while farmers will be permitted to own up to 10 guns. The laws drafted in response to the December 14th massacre at Sydney’s Bondi Beach where two gunmen opened fire during a Jewish event, killing 15 people. Activist groups have slammed the legislation, vowing to challenge the anti-protest laws. They say the state government is trying to strip away the right to peacefully protest for everyone, and falsely linking anti-Semitism with Palestine solidarity movement.
