Israel adamant to pursue expansionism

Israeli officials vow a permanent military and settler presence across multiple occupied territories, defiantly rejecting international law and escalating regional tensions. Israeli War Minister Yisrael Katz has declared an aggressive expansion of Israel's settlement project, explicitly stating the regime will not withdraw an inch from occupied southern Syria, and will establish new civilian settlements in northern Gaza. shortly afterwards, he backtracked on his settlement-related comment, though. Speaking at a ceremony for new West Bank settlements, Katz framed this as a phase of "de facto sovereignty," exploiting what he called unprecedented opportunities since October 7th. The announcement follows Israel's recent approval of 19 new West Bank settlements which Hamas has condemned as a dangerous escalation. Israel is also supposed to withdraw from Gaza during phase two of the truce agreement.

Israel stifling voices of truth

The Israeli regime is pressing ahead with a large-scale incursion in the west bank’s Qalandiya refugee camp, north of al-Quds. Our correspondent Naqaa Hamed was reporting just that when regime forces directly shot her in the foot with a rubber bullet.

'US to keep seized oil'

Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro has hit back at Donald Trump’s pressure campaign against his country. He recommends the US President focus on America's domestic issues. Maduro’s comments came amid a large US military buildup in the Caribbean and hostile moves against Venezuela’s oil sector. The US Coast Guard is pursuing a sanctioned oil tanker, known as Bella-one, in international waters near Venezuela. If seized, the vessel would be the third one apprehended by US forces since several weeks ago. Commenting on tankers seized off the coast of Venezuela, Trump says the US will “keep” the oil, sell it or store it in the Strategic Petroleum Reserve. The ships will also be retained. Since the US began strikes on alleged drug trafficking boats in that region, many have warned the real intention behind Trump’s moves is to topple Maduro.
