Israel violates Gaza truce

Israeli air and artillery strikes have once again battered different parts of the Gaza Strip, in violation of the ceasefire agreement with Hamas. In one of the latest attacks, Israeli forces killed a Palestinian west of the so-called Yellow Line in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood in Gaza City. Several others were also injured when a school sheltering displaced families was struck in the same city. In southern Gaza, four consecutive air raids targeted eastern Khan Yunis, while the regime’s warplanes bombed the city of Rafah. Meanwhile, the Hamas resistance movement has criticized limited aid entering Gaza, saying the trucks that are allowed in fail to meet even basic needs. The group stressed that what is urgently required is large-scale humanitarian supplies that will match the scale of the crisis affecting more than two million people.

Gaza humanitarian crisis

International humanitarian organization Doctors Without Borders has called for urgent medical evacuation of Gaza patients grappling with critical health issues. Dr. Hani Isleem, who oversees medical evacuations from Gaza, said that over 16,500 patients are still in urgent need of treatment outside the Palestinian territory. He also cautioned that the figure only reflects those registered for evacuation, saying the actual number could be three to four times higher. The World Health Organization has issued a similar warning, saying thousands of patients still need life-saving care outside the Gaza Strip. Meanwhile, the United Nations sounded the alarm about rising winter hardships in Gaza and the occupied West Bank. The UN said ongoing hostilities are severely complicating relief efforts, exacerbating the humanitarian crisis in both regions.

Joint Anti-Terror Drill In Iran

Iran is hosting a five-day anti-terrorism military exercise titled Sahand 2025 in East Azarbaijan province, with delegations from member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in attendance. Earlier today, top commanders from the participating countries visited the drill site to oversee operations. Iranian and SCO officials emphasized that the exercise demonstrates their commitment to combating terrorism and addressing international threats. The drill integrates both security and tactical combat operations, highlighting Iran’s expanding role in regional security. Coordination for the exercise was conducted through prior meetings, including in Uzbekistan, under the joint oversight of the SCO executive committee and the IRGC.
