Iranian boys' and girls' volleyball teams have garnered gold medals at the 2025 Asian Youth Games (AYG) in Bahrain.
On Wednesday, the boys’ team defeated Pakistan’s in straight sets (25-21, 25-23, 25-23).
Also on Wednesday, the girls’ team defeated Indonesia in a thrilling final match.
With this victory, the girls’ team achieved a historic milestone, clinching the gold medal for the first time in this age category.

The 3rd Asian Youth Games opened in Bahrain on October 22 and will run until October 31.
A total of 236 Iranian athletes are representing the country in the multi-sport Asian Youth Games.
The AYG serves as qualifiers for the 2026 Youth Olympic Games in Dakar, Senegal.
