Israel Gaza onslaught onslaught
Israel’s genocidal campaign continues in Gaza and causes more deaths and destruction, with the focus of the attacks are now on Gaza City. Nearly 60 Palestinians have been killed since the early hours of morning. In one of the fresh bombardments, seven people lost their lives and several others were injured in an strike on a residential building in Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, northwest of Gaza City. In Khan Yunis, three members of a family were killed in an Israeli shelling of a tent in the al-Mawasi refugee camp. In Rafah, At least Five people lost their lives, with over 60 others injured, when Israeli forces opened fire on aid seekers. Meanwhile, Israel has announced a 'temporary' route for residents to leave the Gaza City amid a wide-scale ground offensive. Since October 2023, the genocidal war on Gaza has killed over 65,000 people. Nearly 165,700 others have been injured as well.
Lebanon pager attacks Anniv
Hezbollah's Secretary General says Israel has failed to take resistance fighters off the battle field. Sheikh Naim Qassem made the remarks as Lebanon marks one year since a wave of Israeli coordinated blasts crippled Hezbollah’s communication network nationwide. Naim Qassem paid tribute to the victims of the pager attacks, calling them pioneers of insight and symbols of hope. He also stated Israel will fall because resistance will continue until freedom is achieved, and that victory is inevitable. On September 17, 2024 thousands of pagers detonated simultaneously in Lebanon, followed by the explosion of numerous walkie-talkies the next day. The two-day assault claimed the lives of around 40 people and left over 3,400 others injured.
London anti-Trump protest
US President Donald Trump has received a royal welcome at Windsor Castle, but outside, tens of thousands protest his second state visit. Demonstrators hold signs that read, “Trump, your politics stink” and “Go away, you are polluting Windsor.” The scale of opposition is significant, with protests also taking place outside the BBC offices. Prior to the visit, a petition signed by thousands of British citizens had called for the visit to be canceled. Meanwhile, police have arrested four people after an image of Trump with the disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein was projected onto the tower of Windsor Castle, a stark reminder of the US president’s controversial associations.
