US-Israeli genocide in Gaza

The US-Israeli genocidal war on Gaza continues. In one of the most recent Israeli strikes, the al-Sousi residential tower in the heart of Gaza City was targeted, following forced evacuation orders. Dozens of displaced Palestinian families were present in the building. Israel’s army also dropped leaflets in Gaza City, threatening residents to leave for a so-called designated humanitarian area in the south. In just 24 hours, Israel has killed at least 68 Palestinians, including 23 aid seekers. Since the regime began its genocidal war on Gaza in October 2023, the total number of Palestinians killed has surpassed 64,300 with over 162,300 injured.

London pro-Palestine rally

Demonstrators have gathered in London to express solidarity with the direct action group 'Palestine Action’. Police made arrests at the largest demonstration yet opposing the proscription of Palestine Action. More than 1,000 people had pledged to risk arrest at the protest. Last month, 532 people were arrested at a similar rally. Protesters who signed up for Saturday’s demonstration have been instructed to withhold their details from officers to force en-masse processing at police stations. Organizers say this will make it “practically impossible” to arrest everyone. The ‘Palestine Action’ group was banned days after claiming responsibility for a break-in at an air force base in southern England.

Iran military might

The Commander-in-Chief of the Iranian army says the Israeli regime was unable to achieve its main objectives during the 12-day aggression against the Islamic Republic.  Major General Amir Hatami said Israel intended to completely destroy Iran’s nuclear capability but failed to do so, because the nuclear capability is rooted in its indigenous science and cannot be eliminated. Hatami said the enemy also intended to eliminate Iran’s missile capability, but that goal went unmet either. The general added another Israeli plans was to destroy our defensive capabilities, but it also failed due to the effective performance of our defense forces. The Iranian army chief stressed that the Islamic Republic brought the enemy to its knees with its missiles until the very end. He said the Iranian armed forces truly fought and resisted so that Islamic Iran would remain proud forever. He reiterated that Iran fought against the essence of Western and NATO technology as they supplied the enemy with everything it needed.
