'Greater Israel' threat
The leader of Yemen’s Ansarullah resistance movement warns that Israel’s plans extend far beyond the borders of Palestine as the regime is openly pursuing a “Greater Israel” project aimed at reshaping the entire West Asia. Seyyed Abdul Malik al-Houthi was addressing a ceremony marking the 1,500th birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad. Speaking to millions of Yemenis who flooded the streets in nationwide celebrations, al-Houthi said Israeli genocidal actions are carried out in full view of the international community. He warned that the Islamic community will face a grave danger if it continues on the path of complacency, and straying from its principles. He emphasized that jihad is the only way to confront the Israeli threat. Al-Houthi called on Muslims worldwide to fulfill their moral duty by standing in solidarity with the oppressed people of Palestine.

Iran-Australia ties downgraded
Iran’s foreign ministry has announced the reduction of the level of relations with Australia. The country's ambassador has also left Iran. The Foreign ministry spokesman said the move is in accordance with diplomatic norms and international law and in direct response to Australia’s earlier decision to expel Iran’s ambassador. Esmaeil Baghaei said however that Iran does not welcome the reduction in diplomatic relations. Baghaei stated that Iran’s consular section in Canberra remains operational, reassuring Iranian citizens living there that consular services will continue. The diplomatic tension came after Australian Prime Minister alleged Iran was involved in two anti-Semitic attacks in Australia. He then told the Iranian ambassador in Canberra, along with three other diplomats to leave Australian territory. Iran has denied the allegations as baseless and politically motivated.
