'No arms surrender amid attacks'

Hezbollah chief emphasized that the group will not accept any disarmament timeline or agreement other than the current ceasefire deal. The US proposal, he argued, serves solely the interests of the Israeli regime while disregarding Lebanon’s security needs. Sheikh Qassem warned Israel of any renewed military campaign against the Arab state, stressing Hezbollah remains fully prepared to respond to any Israeli aggression. He also called for national unity and a strategic framework that prioritizes national security.

Gaza ethnic cleansing

Israeli attacks since this morning have killed dozens of Palestinians including 20 aid seekers in the Gaza strip. One attack targeted a gathering of civilians near an aid distribution point on Salah al-Din Street. The Israeli military also hit tents sheltering displaced people in Khan Yunis. The strike killed at least five people including an 11-year-old child. Meanwhile Gaza’s health ministry says eight more people lost their lives due to famine and malnutrition. That brings to around 190, the number of Palestinians killed as a result of starvation since October the 7th when the genocidal war began. The death toll from the genocide now stands at over 61,000, with over 150,600 injured.

Gaza aid 'insufficient'

The United Nations says the amount of aid deliveries into Gaza is far below what the strip needs to prevent a deepening starvation crisis. The OCHA spokesman added that thousands of tons of aid are waiting just outside Gaza but not allowed to enter. The government media office in Gaza says over the past nine days, an average of only 85 aid trucks per day have entered the strip. According to the UN, Gaza needs at least 500 trucks per day to meet basic humanitarian needs. Israel has partially lifted restrictions on humanitarian aid deliveries after it faced mounting international pressure over the deadly starvation in Gaza.
