US-Israeli Gaza genocide

The Israeli military carries our fresh attacks against Palestinians across Gaza, killing and injuring more civilians in its fresh round of strikes. In one of the latest attacks, FIVE civilians were killed and nearly 60 others injured after Israeli forces opened fire on people waiting to receive aid near Zikim, northwest of Gaza City. In Deir al-Balah, Israeli forces opened fire on Palestinian aid seekers, killing at least three people. Over two dozen people waiting for aid were killed in similar attacks across Gaza on Wednesday. Fatalities were reported after Israeli warplanes bombed a group of civilians east of the Al-Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza. The town of al-Zawaida, also in central Gaza, was the scene of deadly Israeli strikes with multiple deaths and injuries. The US-Israeli genocide, which began in October 2023, has so far killed more than 59,200 Palestinians, leaving over 143,000 others injured.

Gaza ceasefire efforts

The Hamas resistance movement says it has responded to the proposal for a 60-day ceasefire in Gaza, after more than two weeks of indirect talks in Qatar. The movement said in a short statement that its response and the response of the Palestinian factions to the ceasefire proposal has been delivered to the mediators. According to Palestinian sources, the response includes amendments to clauses on the entry of aid, maps of areas from which Israeli forces should withdraw, and guarantees on securing a permanent end to the Gaza war. The new development came after negotiators from both sides held indirect talks in the Qatari capital, Doha, through mediators to reach an agreement on a ceasefire and the release of Israeli captives. There are still forty-nine Israeli captives in Gaza, with Israeli military claiming that twenty-seven of them are dead.

Yemen supporting Gaza

Yemen’s president has once again called on all Arab and Islamic countries to take a strong and unified stance against Israel’s starvation of the people of Gaza. Mahdi Al-Mashat said Muslims must make the world, which has been silenced by the Zionist machine of deception and hypocrisy, hear their position on the brutal genocide in Gaza. He emphasized that those who are not troubled by the tragic scenes in Gaza, have lost their dignity, religion, and humanity. Mashat called on all Muslims to rise up and wash away this shame before history curses them and Zionists trample on them. He stressed that no one has any excuse before God, and the responsibility falls on everyone. Addressing Arab and Muslim leaders, Mashat said if they are unable to act, let the people act and take a stand. He noted that Yemen is ready to be at the forefront of the confrontation with the Zionist enemy and its evil supporters.
