Unity against Israel
Iran's president says the Israeli regime is a project implemented by the global hegemonic system to weaken, occupy, and plunder the resources of the regional countries, and partition the region. Masoud Pezeshkian made the comments in a meeting with the visiting Iraqi Interior Minister, Abdul Amir al-Shammari. He said the regional countries must form a united front against such a common enemy, support one another, and avoid division and disunity. Pezeshkian also met with the visiting Pakistani Interior minister, Syed Mohsin Naqvi. During the meeting, Iran's president described the synergy among Islamic countries as an undeniable necessity. He stresses that Muslim nations can stand as a united front against the Zionist regime, if they are aware of the importance of the unity of the Islamic Ummah. Pezeshkian said Israel can only survive by sowing discord among Muslim countries. He stressed that policymakers in the Islamic world must be aware of Israel’s malicious strategy and neutralize it by fostering unity and solidarity among Muslim nations.
US-Israeli Gaza genocide
Death and destruction ravage the besieged Gaza, as the Israeli military presses ahead with its indiscriminate air and artillery strikes across the war-ravaged territory. In one of the latest and deadliest strikes, at least a dozen people were killed, and some 30 others wounded, after the regime's warplanes bombed a house in the Tal al-Hawa area, south of Gaza City. In the west of Gaza City, at least six people, all from the same family, were killed after Israeli artillery shelled tents of displaced Palestinians in al-Rimal neighborhood. Elsewhere in the same neighborhood, several people were killed, and many others wounded in Israeli shelling of Palestinians near the Palestine Mosque. Nearly 90 people have been killed in Israeli attacks since dawn on Monday. The ongoing Israeli genocide, which began in October 2023, has so far killed nearly 58,400 Palestinians, leaving more than 139,000 others injured.
Gaza ceasefire efforts
The Hamas resistance movement has condemned Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, for obstructing all efforts made to achieve a ceasefire deal in the Gaza Strip. Hamas said Netanyahu has sabotaged all negotiations so far held on the Gaza truce, as he does not want to reach any ceasefire agreement. The movement added that war criminal Netanyahu has dragged his army into a senseless war without any end in sight. It warned that the ongoing war on Gaza threatens the lives of Israeli captives, and will end in a strategic disaster for the regime. Hamas emphasized that the longer the war drags on, the deeper the Israeli army sinks into the quagmire of Gaza, and becomes the target of the resistance’s precise strikes. Hamas said the resistance is waging a war of attrition against Israel, surprising its forces with innovative tactics that disrupt its calculations. The movement concluded by stressing that the "absolute victory" that Netanyahu promises is a great illusion used to cover up his resounding field and political defeats.
