'No concession under pressure'
Tehran has condemned an anti-Iran resolution at the International Atomic Energy Agency, calling it another politically-motivated use of the board of governors. The foreign ministry and the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran in a joint statement, said the Islamic Republic has always stood by its commitments. It said the IAEA’s reports have time and again confirmed this. The statement further said that Western countries undermine the IAEA’s credibility for their own political ends. It said the resolution is one-sided and has no technical or legal basis. On Thursday, the UN nuclear watchdog approved the resolution, accusing Iran of non-compliance with the agency. It claims that Tehran has failed to fully cooperate with the agency. The resolution was submitted on Tuesday by the US and the E3, namely France, the UK and Germany.
Rising Palestinian fatalities in Gaza
The Israeli genocidal war in Gaza continues with over 100 Palestinian women and children having lost their lives in a single day. The IOF opened fire on Palestinian civilians waiting near a humanitarian aid distribution center in the Netzarim junction area of central Gaza. At least 26 people were killed and over 200 were wounded in that strike. Another attack targeted the tents of displaced people in the al-Mawasi refugee camp near Khan Younis. Meanwhile, UNRWA warns that over 2,700 children under the age of five in Gaza are suffering from severe malnutrition. Over 55,200 Palestinians have been killed since the war began in Gaza in October 2023.
"Israeli objectives not accomplished"
The Leader of Yemen’s Ansarullah movement says the Israeli regime has failed in accomplishing its objectives in Gaza for more than six hundred days. Sayyed Abdul Malik Al-Houthi condemned Tel Aviv for engineering a genocide through aid distribution centers, killing the hungry Palestinians seeking aid. Al-Houthi hailed resistance fighters for steadfastness in the face of the IOF despite Israel’s immense military capabilities and US support. He lashed out at Arab and Muslim countries for failing to fulfill their responsibilities regarding Palestinians and collaborating with the Israeli regime. Al-Houthi said Arab inaction has greatly emboldened the enemy to continue its crimes. He vowed Yemeni forces would continue military operations against Israel and in support of Palestinians.
