Iran intelligence power

Iran says it can respond immediately to any possible Israeli attack on its nuclear facilities based on the intelligence it has gained in a recent operation. The Supreme National Security Council says access to the documents has made it possible to immediately counter any Israeli attack by hitting their hidden nuclear facilities or economic and military infrastructure in a proportionate manner. Meanwhile, the commander of the IRGC says the information obtained from the documents will help Iran launch more precise missile strikes against the Israeli regime. Iranian intelligence sources have acquired a wealth of sensitive intelligence from Israel recently. They say the abundance of documents is such that merely reviewing them has taken a considerable amount of time.

Israel killing aid seekers

Hamas says Israel has turned the so-called “American-Israeli aid centers” into systematic death traps to lure Gaza's starving aid-seeking civilians, only to target them with gunfire. The movement’s statement came after Israeli forces targeted dozens of civilians near two aid distribution centers in the southern city of Rafah, killing over a dozen Palestinians. Hamas said such suspicious military-run aid distribution centers must be closed to allow the UN and its agencies to deliver aid to the people of Gaza. It demanded an independent international investigation into these crimes, and the prosecution of the Israeli prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu. The movement said Netanyahu’s use of starvation and humanitarian aid as weapons against Gazans constitutes a war crime committed in full view of the world. Hamas also called for urgent intervention by the UN Security Council to stop the regime’s genocide and lift the blockade of Gaza.

US immigration crackdown

Demonstrators have once again gathered in the city of Los Angeles to protest US President Donald Trump's aggressive immigration policies. The new demonstration came after a weekend of violent clashes between protesters and security forces. Protesters marched toward a detention center run by the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement, condemning the agency's anti-immigrant policies. The protest followed several days of violent confrontations between demonstrators and the US police. Los Angeles police say dozens of protesters have been arrested. They have also used tear gas as well as rubber bullets and less-than-lethal munitions over the weekend. Trump has authorized the deployment of nearly four-thousand National Guard members to Los Angeles to counter violent protests. The Pentagon has also deployed about seven-hundred Marines to Los Angeles to respond to protests. On Monday, the United Nations warned against further militarization of the unrest in Los Angeles.
