US-Israeli Gaza genocide
Another day of bloodshed in Gaza as the Israeli regime escalates its brutal assaults across the besieged Palestinian territory. At least 23 people have been killed since dawn alone. The regime’s bombing of the Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis, southern Gaza claimed the lives of at least six Palestinians. The regime forces have launched around 30 air raids on Khan Yunis since dawn. Three Palestinians were slaughtered after an Israeli drone hit a displacement tent west of Al-Nuseirat refugee camp, in central Gaza. Meanwhile, Israeli forces have besieged the Indonesian Hospital in northern Gaza, firing at the complex and blocking medical teams from carrying out their duties. According to the Gaza health ministry, Israel’s genocidal war on Gaza has so far killed nearly 53-thousand-340 Palestinians, with more than 121-thousand others wounded since October 2023.
Gaza hospitals in crisis
Gaza’s al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital has warned of an unprecedented humanitarian crisis in the territory amid indiscriminate Israeli attacks. A spokesman for the hospital says Gaza’s health system is facing a catastrophic situation and full collapse. The spokesman says al-Aqsa Hospital has run out of over 85% of its medical supplies. The official says lack of food, fuel and medicine is seriously jeopardizing the lives of patients. The spokesman says all hospitals of northern Gaza are now out of service and lack of electricity to run vital equipment is shutting down the rest. The spokesman condemned the international silence as a green light for the continuation of Israeli crimes. He called for an immediate end to war and resumption of food and medicine deliveries to Gaza.
Iran nuclear rights
Iran’s foreign ministry spokesperson says uranium enrichment is part of the natural cycle of Tehran’s nuclear industry and is absolutely non-negotiable. Esmaeil Baghaei said Enrichment is not some superficial demand that can be asked of Iran to halt or suspend. He said it is a fundamental technology and necessity that ensures the uninterrupted continuation of Iran’s nuclear industry. Baghaei also said Tehran is participating in indirect talks with US to prove its seriousness and goodwill in reaching a fair, reasonable, and sustainable agreement. The Iranian official said Tehran will not leave any unjust, unfriendly, or hostile act unanswered. Baghaei was referring to threats by certain European countries to reinstate UN sanctions against Tehran. In response to Press TV’s question about Israel’s possible sabotage of a possible deal, he said the regime has shown that it sees no boundaries in violating international law.
