Hospitals under Israeli attack
Israel’s air and artillery strikes keep hammering the Gaza Strip, killing more innocent women and children. One of the latest Israeli strikes hit the Nasser Hospital in the southern city of Khan Yunis, killing three Palestinians, including journalist Hassan Aslih, who was under treatment for injuries sustained in an earlier attack. Hamas resistance movement condemned the assault as a stark testament to the regime’s moral collapse and a war crime aimed at silencing media. Elsewhere in the besieged strip, three Palestinians lost their lives in Israeli bombing of Gaza City's Shujayea neighborhood. The death toll from the US-Israeli genocide in Gaza has risen above 52,900 since October 2023.

He will also visit Qatar and the United Arab Emirates. The trip marks the US president's first major visit abroad of his second term, with the White House saying he looked forward to a "historic return" to the region. Trump will take part in a summit of Arab leaders before heading to Qatar. Trump is expected to focus on securing major financial investments for the United States and making diplomatic inroads on regional issues.
US racial justice protest
In the United States, there has been a partial reckoning of how children have been systematically torn from Native American families. In Washington DC on the Mothers’ Day holiday, African-American women marched on the White House to say the same injustice is happening to their community.
