US-Israeli genocide in Gaza

More Palestinians have fallen victim to Israel's air and artillery strikes in Gaza, as the regime's genocidal war rages on unabated across the besieged territory. In one of the latest attacks, at least 17 Palestinians were killed, including 3 children, in Khan Yunis city. At least four others were killed in another attack on a house in the same city. A child and a young man were also killed in Israeli airstrikes on the Zeitoun and Shuja'iyya neighborhoods in Gaza City. The genocidal war has killed over 52,400 Palestinians since October 2023. More than 118,000 others have also been injured. Most of the victims are women and children.

'Israel weaponizing hunger'
Hamas resistance movement says Israel is using starvation as a weapon of war against the people of Gaza. In a statement, a Hamas official said Gaza has entered the phase of total famine and acute malnutrition. The official said Children are dying from the lack of food along with bombing. He added that Gaza has turned into a zone of attrition for the Israeli military, where the regime’s forces are stumbling without achieving their goals. The official also said Hamas is ready to negotiate a prisoner swap with Israel in return for a full ceasefire and complete withdrawal of the regime from Gaza.

Israel aggression against Syria

The Israeli regime has launched a major wave of attacks on Syria. Local journalists report that Israeli warplanes carried out at least 20 airstrikes across the countryside of Damascus, Dara’a, and Hama, targeting military sites and warehouses. The strikes included attacks on an old Syrian army camp near Shatha village in Hama, the headquarters of a battalion of the former Syrian army north of Damascus, and military camps in Dara’a. Explosions were reported over Damascus and its suburbs, including Harasta, where a civilian casualty was confirmed. Israeli media say some positions in Damascus were targeted for first time. Israel has conducted hundreds of such strikes since the fall of Bashar al-Assad’s government last year, aiming to destroy Syria’s military infrastructure. On Friday, Israeli warplanes struck near the Syrian presidential palace in Damascus.
