Israel Lebanon strike

The Israeli military has carried out a fresh airstrike on Beirut in blatant violation of a ceasefire agreement with Lebanon. The strike targeted a warehouse in Hadath neighbourhood, south of Beirut. The target was located in a densely populated area. The attack came after Israeli forces issued an evacuation warning for residents. Despite a ceasefire with the Arab country in November last year, Israel’s attacks have killed at least 190 people across the country since then.

US-Israel Gaza genocide

More Palestinians fall victim to Israel’s air and artillery strikes as the genocidal regime continues to pound the Gaza Strip. In a fresh wave of attacks, several Palestinians were killed and wounded across the Strip, including three children in Khan Younis and Gaza City. The Gaza Health Ministry reported that 51 more bodies were brought to hospitals in the past 24 hours, along with 1 hundred and 15 wounded. An additional 697 previously missing individuals were added to the casualty count after verification, bringing the total death toll since October 7, 2023, to at least 52,423. 

Iran deadly port blast

Iran declares a day of national mourning on Monday over Saturday’s deadly explosion at Shahid Rajaee port in Bandar Abbas. The massive explosion has killed at least 40 people and injured nearly 1,140. President Masoud Pezeshkian has visited the explosion site, vowing swift government action to address the aftermath of the tragedy. He praised first responders, stating that he has come to see first-hand if there is anything the government can follow up on. The president also conducted an aerial inspection of the port to assess the latest situation. Meanwhile, Iran’s interior minister said customs activities have resumed at the port. He said around 90 percent of the fire has been contained so far.
