April 9: ‘Axis of Resistance’ operations against Israeli occupation

Amid Israel’s genocidal war on Gaza, which has killed more than 33,200 Palestinians so far, including nearly 16,000 children, resistance groups in Palestine and across the region continue their operations against the Tel Aviv regime and its Western backers.

The major operations carried out by the Palestinian and regional resistance groups on Tuesday, April 9, are as follows:

Al-Qassam Brigades' operations on April 9:
(Gaza Strip)

• Targeted a gathering of Israeli vehicles on the outskirts of the Shujaiya neighborhood, east of Gaza City, with mortar shells.

• Targeted the Israeli military's command headquarters and an engineering group in the Netzarim corridor with mortar shells. 

• In a joint operation with the Mujahideen Brigades, targeted Israeli forces southwest of Gaza City with mortar shells.

Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades' operations on April 9:
(Gaza Strip and West Bank)

• Bombed the Israeli military’s command headquarters and a gathering of regime soldiers with heavy caliber mortar shells in the Netzarim axis, north of the Gaza Strip. 

• Engaged in fierce clashes with Israeli forces and their military vehicles storming the city of Tulkarem from several axes, using machine guns and explosive devices.

• Engaged in fierce clashes with Israeli forces that stormed Balata camp, east of Nablus, with machine guns and explosive devices.

Al-Quds Brigades' operations on April 9:
(Gaza Strip and West Bank)

• Soldiers of the Jenin Brigades targeted the settlement of "Qanir" with a heavy barrage of bullets, inflicting losses. 

• Bombed the command and control headquarters of the Israeli military, southwest of Gaza City.

Mujahideen Brigades' operations on April 9:

• Targeted an Israeli military warplane with a SAM-7 missile west of Gaza City.

Hezbollah's operations on April 9:

Eastern sector:

• At around 12:00 local time, the Zibdin barracks in Lebanon's Shebaa were targeted with artillery shells.

• At around 15:00 local time, Israeli soldiers near the Al-Baghdadi site were targeted with a drone. 

• At around 15:00 local time, a jamming device at the Al-Assi site was targeted with a drone.

• At around 15:15 local time, the Ruwaisat Al-Alam site in Lebannon's Kafr Shuba was targeted with a barrage of missiles.

• At around 15:25 local time, a radar site in Lebanon's Shebaa was targeted with a barrage of missiles.

• At around 16:00 local time, the Al-Assi site was targeted with a barrage of missiles.

Western sector:

• At around 06:00 local 6, Israeli soldiers in the vicinity of the Jal al-Alam site were targeted with artillery shells, causing casualties. 

• At around 10:30 local time, Israeli soldiers and a Merkava tank in the Doviev Barracks were targeted, resulting in casualties.

Islamic Resistance in Iraq's operations on April 9:

• Targeted two vital Israeli military sites deep inside the occupied territories. 

• Targeted an Israeli military airbase in Beersheba

• Targeted Ashkelon oil port and settlements surrounding it.
