Palestinians have held the funeral of a teenager who was shot dead at the weekend during an Israeli raid into the occupied West Bank.

Muhammad Khaddour was shot in the head by Israeli troops in the village of Biddu, northwest of the occupied al-Quds, on Sunday. Khaddour held a dual Palestinian-American nationality.

On Monday, Israeli forces killed two more Palestinians in the West Bank with the regime ramping up its campaign of aggression and abductions in the occupied territories.

The killings came amid an alarming rise in the number of the Palestinians murdered by Israeli forces in the West Bank since the regime launched a devastating war in Gaza on October 7, 2023.

Meanwhile, a group of United Nations special rapporteurs recently said the murder of three young Palestinians in January inside a West Bank hospital by a unit of undercover Israeli forces amount to a grave violation of international human rights law.

Israel has killed nearly 28,300 people, most of them women and children, in Gaza since early October.

Also on Monday, an advocacy group said Israeli forces had kidnapped 35 Palestinians in the West Bank and East al-Quds since Sunday night. The people include a wounded minor and a former prisoner.

The Palestinian Prisoners Society said on Telegram that the abductions were mostly in the city of al-Khalil, while others were made in the cities of Nablus, Ramallah, Jenin and Qalqilya, as well as in East al-Quds.
