US-managed Gaza genocide
The leader of Yemen’s Ansarullah movement has lashed out at the Washington over its complicity in Israel’s genocidal war on Gaza, calling the war a US-managed killing campaign. Abdul-Malik Al-Houthi said in a televised speech that America’s direct participation in the bloodshed in Gaza has emboldened Israeli criminals to commit more crimes. He said the US provides Israel with arms, money, intelligence and diplomatic support. He said the US insists on the continuation of the genocide in Gaza and uses media to whitewash Israeli crimes. Al-Houthi said Americans have a dark history of committing crimes against various peoples of the world and are known for their moral bankruptcy. The Yemeni leader said what the Palestinian people are subjected to is unjust and destructive aggression in violation of all laws and norms. He lamented that the Israeli war machine committed over two-thousand massacres against Palestinians in the past one-hundred days.
Targeting journalists
Another Palestinian journalist has been martyred following Israeli strikes on Gaza City. Wael Abu Fannouna, the Chief Executive Officer at Quds Today Satellite channel, was killed in Israeli strikes in central Gaza city. Abu Fannouna is only one of the many journalists who have fallen victim to indiscriminate Israeli bombings of the Gaza Strip. Nearly 120 journalists have been killed by the regime’s occupation forces since October 7. Palestinians say the Israeli army deliberately targets media workers to hide the truth about the crimes and atrocities they commit in the besieged Palestinian territory.
Resistance retaliation
There are reports of Incoming rocket sirens sounding in Israel’s southernmost city of Eilat. Israeli military claims that it has intercepted several missiles coming from the Red Sea towards Eilat. This is the first such incident since early December. There are no reports of casualties in the city yet. There has not been any claim of responsibility for the attack, so far. However, the port city of Eilat has been targeted by resistance groups in Yemen and Iraq for a number of times. The resistance groups in the region have said they target Israeli interests in retaliation for the regime’s genocide against Palestinians in Gaza.
