US-Israeli genocide

The US-managed Israeli genocide in Gaza continues unabated, with the regime’s warplanes and artillery keep pounding the blockaded territory. At least 40 Palestinians, including nine children have been killed in the latest airstrikes on houses and the vicinity of hospitals in Khan Yunis. The regime’s overnight bombardment hit areas near the town of al-Mawasi where displaced Gazans had taken shelter. The city of Deir el-Balah was shelled again, leaving 10 Palestinians dead and several injured. In Rafah, at least three civilians were killed. Dozens of people were also killed after airstrikes targeted homes in central Gaza. The air raids hit the vicinity of a junior school in the al-Bureij refugee camp, wounding dozens of displaced people. A girls’ High School and a clinic in the al-Maqhazi refugee camp were also bombed. More than 22,004 Palestinians have been killed in Israel’s genocidal attacks in Gaza so far.

Arouri funeral ceremony

A funeral ceremony has been held in Beirut for a top Hamas official who was assassinated by the Israeli regime. The Deputy leader of Hamas Resistance Movement, Saleh al-Arouri, was killed in an Israeli drone attack in the south of the Lebanese capital, on Tuesday. The attack which targeted an office of Hamas, took the lives of several other people as well. Saleh al-Arouri was one of the founders of Hamas's military wing, al-Qassam brigades. Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh has strongly condemned the assassination of Saleh al-Arouri. He described the move as a violation of Lebanon's sovereignty and an expansion of Israel's hostility against Palestinians.

Iraq anger at US

Iraq has strongly condemned a drone attack on a security force headquarters in the capital Baqdad. The country’s PM says the attack is a dangerous escalation and a violation of Iraq’s sovereignty.
In a statement, Prime Minister Mohamed Shia al-Sudani said Baqdad holds the US-led international coalition responsible for the attack. Meanwhile, Iraqi Parliament members have called for the expulsion of the American ambassador to the Arab country. The drone attack hit the headquarters of the Popular Mobilization Units. Three people, including a commander of the Nojaba resistance movement were killed. Sources say the target of the attack was a PMU base located inside the interior ministry complex. In recent months, resistance groups in Iraq have repeatedly targeted American military bases and facilities in Iraq and Syria in retaliation for Washington’s support for Israel’s genocidal war on the Palestinian people.
