Netanyahu's war on Gaza

Nearly 180 Gazans have been killed on the first day of renewed Israeli bombings on the besieged territory.

More than 15,000 Palestinian lives have been taken by the Israeli forces in less than two months. Most of the Gaza Strip is in ruins and as the UN chief has said, the people there are in the midst of an “epic humanitarian catastrophe”.

Israel ended the pause in attacks despite calls, virtually from the whole world, for a permanent ceasefire. All these tragedies come as internal pressure is mounting on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his cronies in the regime's ultra-right-wing cabinet.
