Israel Gaza school massacre

Israel’s genocidal war on Gaza has entered its 44th day and there seems to be no end in sight to the painful tragedies there. One of the latest Israeli attacks has hit 2 schools, killing scores of people. The regime targeted the UN-run al-Fakhoora School, located in Jabalia refugee camp and another school in northern Gaza. Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman strongly condemned the attacks. Naser Kan’ani urged the international community and Islamic countries to act against regime’s crimes. Israel has ordered Palestinians to move from north Gaza for so called safety, but deadly airstrikes continue to hit central and southern areas of the strip. At least 47 Palestinians were also killed in regime’s airstrikes on residential blocks in the south of the strip. According to the Gaza Health Ministry, the death toll stands at over 12,300. Women and children make up the majority of the victims.

‘Resistance will not retreat’

A senior Hamas official has vowed that Palestinian resistance will not retreat until the realization of its goals. Hamas’ representative in Lebanon, Osama Hamdan, said the main demand of the Palestinian people is the establishment of an independent state. He slammed the Israeli plans for forced evacuation of Palestinians from northern Gaza, stressing the regime’s plots will all end in failure. Hamdan said the onslaught in Gaza is being carried out with the US green light and that Washington is directly responsible. He called on the United Nations to impose sanctions on the regime. Hamdan also urged Arab and Muslim nations to sever ties with Israel.

Pro-Palestine protests

Palestinians in the occupied West Bank have marched in solidarity with the people subjected to Israel’s aggression in the Gaza Strip. Hundreds of Palestinians rallied in the West Bank city of Ramallah. They chanted anti-Israeli slogans while waving Hamas and Palestinian flags. The demonstration comes amid an uptick of Israeli violence against Palestinians in the West Bank in recent weeks. Also, hundreds of people in Bahrain took to the streets to protest Israel’s atrocities in Gaza. They slammed the regime’s targeting of hospitals and its genocide. Similar rallies were also held across Europe, calling for an end to Israeli regime's massacre of people in Gaza.
