Achievements of Iran President's Visit to Africa
Iran's President Ebrahim Raeisi recently visited Kenya, Uganda, and Zimbabwe heading a high-ranking delegation of ministers, diplomats, and private sector representatives.
This landmark visit has been dubbed a success as it opened new frontiers for cooperation between the Islamic Republic and African countries.
The visit aimed at increasing Irans footprints in a continent that is set to outperform the rest of the world in economic growth over the next two years.
Raeisi received an official welcome from his Kenyan counterpart, William Ruto, at the State House. A 21-gun salute was performed in honor of the Iranian president and his accompanying delegation.
