Slamming US Syria presence

Iran’s president condemns the United States’ military presence in Syria saying it is doomed to fail. Ebrahim Raeisi made the remarks in an interview with Syria's official news agency, SANA. He said Syria will foil a US plan to occupy parts of the Arab country to plunder its wealth. Raeisi noted that no foreign military force should be present on the Syrian soil, adding the main concern of the regional countries is the restoration of Syria's sovereignty. The Iranian president returned to Tehran on Friday after a two-day trip to Damascus.
