Israeli arrests

Israeli forces have detained four Palestinians, including a teenage boy, in connection with recent anti-regime operations in the occupied territories. The Israeli military claims the 15-year-old Palestinian opened fire on a vehicle leaving two Israelis injured in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in East al-Quds. Israeli forces launched a manhunt soon after the incident on Tuesday. Separately, the regime’s troops arrested three more Palestinians during a raid on the Jenin refugee camp. At least seven people were wounded in the assault. The occupied Palestinian territories have been the scene of growing tensions in recent weeks due to Israel’s atrocities and repeated raids on the al-Aqsa mosque compound. In response, Palestinians have also launched several retaliatory attacks.

Sudan conflict: Day 5

In Sudan, the rival military factions have violated a day-long humanitarian truce they agreed upon on Tuesday. The army and the paramilitary group, known as Rapid Support Forces, had agreed to stop fighting to ensure the safe passage of civilians and the evacuation of the wounded. But heavy gunfire was heard around the capital Khartoum just hours later when Muslims started to break their fast. The paramilitary group accused the army of violating the ceasefire. However, a little pause in clashes allowed people to go shopping. The fighting broke out on Saturday after weeks of tensions over the planned integration of the paramilitary group into the regular army. According to the UN, violence has left about 200 people dead and 1,800 more injured.
