Muslims celebrating holy month of Ramadan

The holy month of Ramadan is the ninth Islamic lunar calendar. It begins at the first sight of the new moon. During the month, observing Muslims fast, that is they abstain from eating and drinking from just before the sunrise prayer to the sunset prayer.
