The number of Palestinians falling victim to Israeli violence continues to rise as the regime’s atrocities go on unabated across the occupied territories. On Tuesday alone four men were killed in separate incidents. The first was 45 year-old Mufeed Khalil who was killed in the village of Beit Ummar near al-Khalil. Israeli forces shot Mufeed during a military raid on the village while injuring twenty others.

The two Palestinian brothers killed, were identified as 22- and 21-year-old Jawad and Dhafer al-Rimawi. They were shot by Israeli forces who stormed the village of Kafr Ein, west of Ramallah. The bodies of the two brothers were taken to Birzeit University where they studied, allowing colleagues and friends bid their farewells before being buried in their hometown of Beit Reema.

A fourth Palestinian was shot after hitting an Israeli settler with his car, near an illegal settlement adjacent to the village of Mukhmas. Israeli forces shot him dead, claiming it was a ramming attack.

This year, 2022, marks the highest number of Palestinians killed by Israeli forces in the West Bank since 2006, with the regime carrying out deadly attacks against Palestinians in the area almost on a daily basis. Over 200 Palestinians were killed in the occupied territories as well as the Gaza strip so far this year.

The Israeli military continues to use lethal force in the occupied West Bank under baseless justifications. Palestinians warn that Tel Aviv would further intensify its crackdown against them, under the upcoming Israeli coalition cabinet.
