IRGC strikes on terrorists bases

Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps says it will continue its cross-border operations against anti-Iran terrorist groups based in Iraq’s Kurdistan region until they are disarmed. The Commander of IRGC Ground Force called on people residing in the vicinity of terrorist bases in northern Iraq to evacuate the area. Brigadier General Mohammad Pakpour said his forces used missiles and drones to target strongholds of anti-Iran separatist terrorists. The IRGC has been carrying out strikes on terrorist hideouts in the Kurdistan region since late September. Iran has repeatedly warned Iraqi Kurdish officials to stop the activities of terrorist groups along its borders. But according to the IRGC, the Kurdistan regional government has failed to deal with those groups. The IRGC says terrorists from northern Iraq have recently entered Iran’s border cities to carry out armed attacks in the country.

Palestinian teen killed

Israeli troops have once again launched a raid on the city of Nablus in the occupied West Bank, killing one Palestinian teenager and injuring four others. The Palestinian health ministry said 16-year-old Ahmad Amjad She-had-eh succumbed to his wounds after being shot in the heart. It said four other young men were wounded by live bullets, one of them is in a critical condition. The new fatality raises the number of Palestinians killed by Israeli attacks to 200 since the beginning of this year, including 57 teenagers. Nablus has seen coordinated and armed attacks by Israeli settlers under the regime’s military protection. Palestinian armed resistance in the area against Israeli atrocities has also intensified in recent months.

US arms for Ukraine

US senators press the Pentagon to reconsider Ukraine's request for lethal drones to fight Russia. A bipartisan group of 16 senators ask the Pentagon to explain why it has not moved ahead with providing Kiev with drones. Kiev has made numerous appeals for Washington to supply it with the powerful drones. But the US has so far declined to provide them to Ukraine. The Pentagon has not confirmed whether the rejection is based on concerns the drones could be shot down or reverse engineered. At the same time, the US says it would provide 4.5 billion dollars in financial support for Kiev. The US Treasury Secretary said the aid will support core government services, including wages for hospital workers, government employees and teachers. The aid will be provided through the World Bank.
