Three military bases hosting US occupation forces in Syria’s Koniko came under rocket attacks. Late on Wednesday, rockets struck two US bases in Syria’s Dayr al-Zawr province injuring three troops after the US carried out airstrikes in eastern Syria in early hours of the day in what it claimed were facilities used by Iran-linked fighters in Syria.

Tehran has slammed US raids as breach of Syria’s sovereignty, denying the US military claims that targets struck in Syria were linked to Iran. Syria has repeatedly urged UNSC to take action against illegal U. military presence in the country.

Press TV interviews Richard Becker, an anti-war activist from ANSWER Coalition in San Francisco and Brecht Jonkers, historian and journalist from Hasselt, Belgium, to look at how the US expects to be protected when it is in Syria illegally while robbing the Syria’s oil and at the same time imposing sanctions on the country, choking the Syrian economy.
