US Israel policy

Iran says there will be no peace and stability in the West Asian region as long as protecting security and superiority of Israel is a priority for the US. Iran’s foreign ministry spokesman said Iran considers its neighbors’ security as of its own security. Nasser Kanaani pointed to a recent declaration by Israeli and US leaders of putting anti-Iran stance on their agenda. He noted that the declaration is aimed at targeting not just Iran but securing Israel’s hegemony over Islamic and Arab states. The statement was signed during US President Joe Biden’s trip to Tel Aviv. Washington has reiterated that it remains committed to Israel’s security, especially the regime’s qualitative military edge in the region.

Iran US warning

Iran’s president warns the United States and its allies that any mistake by them in West Asia will meet a harsh response. Raeisi said Iran’s defense capabilities have brought security to the region. The president also said interference by foreigners, the US in particular, will only jeopardize regional security. Raeisi warned Israel that normalization with certain Arab states in the region will never guarantee the regime’s security. The Iranian president also censured some regional states for playing into the hands of Western countries in importing instability and terrorism to West Asia. Elsewhere in his remarks, Raeisi said Iran is currently stronger than any time in history while the US is in its weakest position. He censured Washington for pursuing its so-called maximum pressure against Tehran. Raeisi said even US officials themselves have admitted that such a policy has failed QUOTE miserably.

‘World war against Russia’

Serbia’s President Aleksandar Vucic accuses the West of fighting a world war against Russia by means of Ukrainian soldiers. In a TV interview, Vucic said the Ukraine conflict is a global one as the entire western world is fighting against Russia via Ukrainians. He stressed that all the talks that it is a regional or a local conflict must be dropped. The Serbian leader warned that the situation in Ukraine is also affecting the Balkans. He vowed, however, that Serbia will spare no effort to preserve peace in the region. Russia launched its military offensive in Ukraine in February, saying it has no plans to occupy the country but to demilitarize it. Moscow accuses the West, the US in particular, of adding fuel to the flame by sending lethal weapons to Ukraine.
