Israeli forces have injured five Palestinian youths, two of them critically, during violent raids in the occupied West Bank and al-Quds, amid intensified Israeli violence against Palestinians in the occupied territories.

According to the Palestinian Health Ministry, Israeli forces opened fire on dozens of Palestinians after they raided the northern West Bank town of al-Yamun, west of Jenin, hitting two by live ammunition, the Palestinian Information Center reported.

Video footage showed the two young Palestinian men lying motionless on the ground before Israeli forces decided to detain them and later allowed a Palestinian ambulance crew to evacuate them.

The ministry later confirmed that the two wounded were hospitalized at Ibn Sin Hospital in Jenin, adding that doctors pronounced one of them as clinically dead.

Dozens of Palestinians also suffocated from inhaling tear gas after Israeli forces fired teargas canisters towards them during clashes in the town.

In a separate incident, two other youths were injured by Israeli gunfire during clashes with local Palestinians in the Ramallah-area village of Qarawat Bani Zeid.

Israeli forces also kidnapped a young man identified as Abdul-Ghani Hajiji after ransacking his home in the village.

Also in East al-Quds, one young man sustained injury when Israeli forces opened fire at Palestinians during clashes in At-Tur neighborhood.

Israeli forces also kidnapped 14 Palestinian citizens in the West Bank last night and at dawn Monday.

According to local sources, Israeli forces abducted nine citizens from Bethlehem, one from Tamun town in Tubas and four others from Ramallah.

Another citizen was kidnapped during Israeli forces' renewed storming of al-Aqsa Mosque in the morning.

The regime in Tel Aviv has escalated its crackdown on Palestinians since the beginning of the Muslim holy fasting month of Ramadan, arresting a number of Palestinians in the occupied East al-Quds, desecrating al-Aqsa mosque, imposing new restrictions on the Palestinian people’s entry into the mosque, and ordering the demolition of Palestinian homes and agricultural facilities.

The Israeli violence, repeated on a daily basis, has led to fierce clashes between Israelis and Palestinians across the occupied territories.
