Defending champions Sevilla have taken one step closer to the quarter finals of the Europa League after edging past West Ham 1-0 in the 1st leg of the round of 16 at home.
The Europa League 6-time champions got on the score sheet against the run of play when Morocco striker Munir El Haddadi was in the right place at the right time to score the only goal of the match with a sublime finish in the hour mark. With the result, West Ham's hopes of reaching the last 8 of the Europa League hang in the balance, leaving them with a mountain to climb in the return leg at the Olympic Stadium on the 17th of March.
