Iranians prepare to welcome spring by planting trees in different parts of the country in a bid to help expand green spaces.

In Tehran, during a campaign titled “Hello Earth”, students helped expand green spaces while activities are underway to mark the national Natural Resources Week from March 6 to 13.

With the slogan of keeping your name or that of your loved ones alive and green, Iranian students have joined the chain of love for nature, planting trees in regions where green spaces are highly needed.

Moreover, earlier the leader of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, took part in this tradition on Sunday, planting two saplings. He called on everyone to take all measures to protect the environment.

The natural resources week represents more than just planting trees; it is a strong message of protecting the environment and changing attitudes and lifestyles. Each tree means a gift from current generations to future generations to have a green and healthy planet.

Iranians have always paid attention to nature. They believe planting saplings will make the world a better place to live for us, our children and the generations to come.
