When the Iranian Islamic Revolution took place in 1979, prominent Nigerian Islamic Cleric Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky was a young university student, preaching against immorality.

He says that the 1979 Islamic Revolution in Iran and the Leader of the Revolution, Imam Khomeini, were sources of inspiration to many young Nigerians.

Professor Sadiq Abba was also a young student who cared about the common good for all Nigerians and said that the Islamic Revolution was based on knowledge and the collective willpower of the Iranian people.

Doctor Imam Mukhtar says the 1979 Islamic Revolution was a change that was inspired by the Iranians who have had enough.

Experts believe that one of the significant outcomes of the 1979 Islamic Revolution was turning Iran into a power in the Middle East region with even influence in global affairs.
