Iran has a robust industry for producing medical devices. When the coronavirus broke out, Iranian knowledge-based companies led the battle by expanding their productions lines.
According to Irans Food and Drug Administration, all medicine used to treat Covid-19 have been manufactured domestically. This goes to show how the industry is on top of scientific developments. Going off of figures from the National Medical Device Directorate, there are roughly 500 medical equipment manufacturers active in the country that produce tens of thousands of products.
