West Africans reject French forces

There is rising anger in the West Africa region over continued French military presence. Recently angry masses in Burkina Faso and Niger attempted to top a French military convoy heading to Mali.

Here is one of the protestors in Burkina Faso. This week we are focusing on an upsurge of protests by West Africans who are demanding the complete withdrawal of French forces in the region. They say that despite the presence of French troops, the region has seen increased attacks by Takfiri terrorists.

Some people actually believe that French forces are supporting these terrorists. In the second part of our program we shall talk about mixed-race women who were taken away from their Congolese mothers in infancy during colonial rule by Belgium. These women have now sued the Belgian for committing a crime against humanity.
