England head coach, Gareth Southgate, has signed a new deal to keep him in the role until 2024.
The English Football Association announced on Monday that Southgate’s contract has been extended for 2 years. The 51-year-Old’s previous contract was set to run-out after the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. Southgate took the England Job in 2016, after Sam Allardyce's Reign ended after just one match in the wake of a newspaper sting. He took his young team to the semi-finals at the World Cup in Russia, where they lost 2-1 to Croatia in extra time. He also led the 3-Lions to the Final of Euro 2020, where they lost to Italy on penalties at Wembley.
