Iran parliament approves all but one proposed minister during confidence vote

After five days of marathon debates in parliament over the credentials of President Ebrahim Raeisi's cabinet choices, the final voting was held on Thursday. All but one of the 19 proposed ministers won the parliament's confidence. Parliament gave no-confidence to Hossein Baghgoli, the proposed education minister, with 76 votes in favor, 193 against and 18 abstentions.
