Israel to construct more settlement units in West Bank

Israel’s new Prime Minister Naftaly Bennett has relaunched a controversial project to construct over 3,400 settler units in the occupied West Bank to connect the largest Israeli settlement of Ma’ale Adumim to the West Jerusalem al-Quds. The so-called E1 project involves construction of the units at an area where hundreds of Palestinians live in Bedouin communities.
